Job-Opportunities:
For our Program on Materials for Energy Storage, we are searching for multiple postdoctoral associates and senior scientists and managers.
Welcome to my homepage.
As a research staff member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Materials Processing Group and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, I am working on structure and properties of materials and new processing technology for biomedical, industrial, and energy storage applications.
However, I could never do all this work alone. With a team of excellent staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students, we are working on a materials science approach to increase performance, life-time, and safety of energy storage devices. Read more about the team here. Here you can find some TV news on our energy storage developments.
This team is working largely within ORNL Energy Storage Program.
Furthermore, I am engaged in a variety of professional organisations as well as international networking activities. For example, I am the University of Tennessee's coordinating contact for the International Network Promoting Materials Science and Engineering.
If you are interested in my work, in collaboration, or in consultancy, come in and inform you about my professional background and my experiences.
Yours Claus Daniel
